Hedir Review Guidelines is designed to help out reviewers who are newbie in Hedir and don't have a clear concept of reviewing a site in Hedir. As for Hedir we rellay on the reviews done by our members and depending on the review our moderators decide whether a site is suitable for listing in Hedir or not. So expect the review done by our members should be qualitically good

Here firstly we have describe certain factors that anyone should keep in mind while doing a review. Factors are basically parameters on the basis we need to judge a site as good for Hedir listing or not. In then next continuing section there is a FAQ section. This FAQ will help our member to understand the parameters considered in review and express their opinion about it.

Reviewers Guide:

Our emphasis is on content. We believe that a site should be informative to be of some value to its visitors. We have classified such sites into the following categories:

   * Offering product information
   * Offering service information
   * Offering current industry news, research information, tutorials and reference material

Review for such sites can be done in two ways:

   * General Review on informative value of the site
   * Technical Review

General Review:

   * Check that the site belongs to one of the above categories.
   * Check that the site has enough informative content.
   * Check that the intended visitors of the site will benefit by visiting the site.

Technical Review: Please check the following points in a technical review,

   * Overall structure of the site
   * Logo of the site
   * Headers and Footers
   * Navigational structure
   * Color schemes used
   * Pop ups on site pages
   * URL formats
   * w3c XHTML/HTML validation

We encourage you to do both types of reviews for a site. It will help the webmaster of the site in planning future developments. Also, do not forget to vote yes/no for the site as the listing of the site depends on the number of yes/no votes the site gets along with other factors.

Q1 - What is review?
Ans- Review is your opinion about a site. While providing your opinion you need to check the website on the basis of some parameters as stated above. You also consider your own parameters too. After checking the website you need to write a post that why do you think that the website should be listed with Hedir or not. While writing you need to mention those points that support your opinion. You also need to cast your vote for or against the site.

Q2 - What should I do if I can't take a decision for a site while reviewing?
Ans- Well that time you can mention about the problem that you found with the site. You can keep hold on casting your vote by selecting 'Undecided' option.

Q3 - How can I start review websites?
Ans- If you are a new member in Hedir community then I suggest you to use Review Centre for this purpose. Review center allows to set your own preferences when you review a site. For example, you can choose to get those sites for review, which got maximum number of 'yes' votes, by just clicking on the 'yes' header in 'vote' column and arranging sites in descending order. From the Review Center table select any site to review by just clicking the Review link in Forum link column.

Q4 - I am not well versed with technical parameters, in that case what should I write?
Ans- If you are not well versed with technical parameters, it does not matter. In that case, you just write your opinion related to non-technical parameters like information, products and services.
