You need to first optimize your site following the white hat SEO rules and then try to submit your URL on the related sites which will help in gaining popularity for your site and eventually result in gaining high PR in search engines. _________________ Priyanka (SEO Expert)
I have done all this things already. And before last Pr update had PR4. and do nothing almost. Last update site was dropped to PR3. So I asd about easy way to support PR _________________ roksolana-dating.com roksolana.com.ua aMariner.net
My best advice: forget about PR. The only thing that really counts is scoring high in the SERP's on your chosen keywords. PR and high SERP are not really one on one related with each other. This is especially true for toolbar PR. It's a hoax.
Concentrating on your site is a much better strategy. Fresh, clean-coded and well written content with the right keywords sprinkled throughout the page. Check your higher scoring competition to see what they do. _________________ Please review some sites.

hey roksolana, there's an interesting article about google page rank here: http://www.ianrogers.net/google-page-rank/
I've tried a couple of things it mentioned, like linking more to other pages within the website, and making a site map and error page (at least I think that was in that article). But I think there was a lot of fuss about page rank recently as a lot of big name sites lost it for a couple of months. _________________ Devon Business Directory

I too agree with Baggeroli. Bro. its online market with full of competition so there is no question of siting idle, whoever does it he will find himself running behind of others. So keep your site useful and up-to-date. So that users get what they want.
roksolana I have no idea whether there is any specific time of updating BL by Google. I never worried about that. I just try to do the right things and move ahead. If anyone have any idea about BL updating then pls. share with us.

Oh, I see. All I can tell you is that I have launched a new site at the beginning of December. It is listed with Google, but as yet I have no page rank, nor does Google show my backlinks.
Yahoo, on the other hand does show all of the links to my site and I have a much higher placing on their engine.
But it does seem a bit annoying that Google takes so long to update anything. I wonder if they do the same for news articles. I work as a journalist and often use Google for researching breaking stories, but if that is the case, then I will probably start using MSN or Yahoo.
You shouldn't ignore Google. It is very important search engine. The only thing you can do is to wait untill Google notice your backlinks.I was waiting it about 2.5 month. Then Google will rate your site. Does anybody work on your site SEO and promotion? _________________ roksolana-dating.com roksolana.com.ua aMariner.net
If you want to have high PR, push up your exchange link. The PR is depends on the number of links you exchange with other site. But SEO is not only PR and PR is nothing if the is no ones view your site
