Have I missed an explaination of how this works? Or where to find it?
I know this is a community of really intelligent folks but always remember, some of us are fairly new to computer talk and need a little more hand holding along the path to enlightenment...

- I clicked on the listings on the right of the page for new stories/threads under "Latest Discussions"
- The story was the "Hilltop" story.
- There is no link to view the information that was being talked about.
Having no link with the story as I mentioned at the beginning was not helpful to understand what was being talked about. It is an inconvenience for the visitor.
Why not we have a wiki FAQ? we ask questions and we answer it ourselves. What do you say? _________________ Web 2.0 bookmarking - I think you cant make it simpler.
That is a good idea. One proviso...you are now creating additional work when most of the "complaints" I hear are about how many sites need reviewing, people losing interest in participation because of the backlog...etc.
While a FAQ is a great idea...first things first...if your forum has no one looking at it FAQ won't create additional traffic _________________ You never get what you want until you help others get what they want.
I think that AjiNIMC is the only promotional guy we have here. We would have more visitors if we had about 10 of AjiNIMC working day and night on other forums, making articles, and just being a marketing machine for Hedir.
That is what is missing.
As far as keeping them when they get here....that is another very long post that I'm not going to get into right now.

It will change, it will become useful for everyone. I promise I will make it happen. I am working for many extra hours to make it happen. My Gut feel says it will work. The backlog will become history in next 3 weeks.

I wish I could see the stats so I had a better idea of where people were coming from then. Maybe it would give me a little more insight as to who and where the promotional stuff is coming from.
The reason my thought was that AjiNIMC was the only one doing this is because he reports back to tell us what he has done to help. Other than that I am in the dark about how we get heard about here.
